Ready to take your students' learning to the next level? Your students can use these graphic organizers to create their word problem and solve it. Then they can use Toontastic 3D to animate and record their word problem. Teachers evaluate their work with what is recorded on the plan sheet as well as their execution on the app.

Take this lesson a step further and the students can upload their cartoon to their Seesaw journal to share with classmates and family! The other students can also comment on their classmate's post with the answer to their word problem.

• addition and subtraction skills
• higher-level thinking in creating the word problem
