Students work in groups to read a few pieces from the Transcendental "greats" (Emerson & Thoreau) and research this literary movement, then find a creative way to "teach" it with presentation AND visual aid/learning tool to 5th graders. Students must have an annotated bibliography for the research (no research "paper"). Comes with a rubric.
