Description

This project has 4 different shapes to transform.  For each transformation, the pre-image is already graphed and coordinates identified in a table.  Students need to complete the transformation on the graph (and label the image points correctly) and then identify the correct coordinates for the image and write them in the appropriate table.  You many want them to decorate/color their drawings so they can be used to decorate your room. The following transformations are included: reflection over the x-axis, y-axis, line y=-2 and line x=-1; rotations 90 degrees counterclockwise (2), 90 degrees clockwise (1), 180 degrees (1); Dilations of 12, 2 and 3;  translations using 4 different rules.  (The blank pages help when copying so that it is easier for the kids to graph and identify the image coordinates)
