Description
This geometry test provides an assessment on transformations in the coordinate plane. Students will be asked to find the coordinates of a triangle after a translation, reflection, rotation, glide reflection, dilation, or similarity transformation with or without a graph. They will also be asked to write the transformation that maps one triangle to the next. The test is intended to be very straight-forward, in which questions are all formatted very alike. The focus is on performing the transformations on a graph.
A few things to note:
- rotations are counterclockwise about the origin (90, 180, and 270)
- glide reflections are written as the composition of isometries (option 1) or in word form (option 2)
- all questions are multiple-choice
This quiz is intended to be a great print + go option, but also now includes an editable PowerPoint version. The answer key is included!
Download the preview to get a better look at the page structure and see the exact notes and types of problems included!
This resource listing now also includes an auto-grading Google Form version of the test! On page 1 of the PDF version, you will find a force copy link to access.
This quiz is also included in the following bundles:
