The attached file contains scavenger hunt and a recording sheet. The scavenger hunt contains 18 transformations on the coordinate grid problems. Students are given a graph with a figure on it and asked to either reflect, translate, rotate, or dilate that figure. The answers are the coordinates of one of the transformed vertices. This activity allows students to practice this skill with their peers. The students are able to get out of their seats which usually keeps the students engaged. By working with a partner, the students are able to solidify the concepts by helping each other. This activity also works as a great formative assessment because you can see which pairs are falling behind on their problems.
