Predictable Chart Writing is a wonderful, routine based way to support emergent readers and writers in the literacy development. This product was made to support teachers with implementing Predictable Chart Writing in their classroom. My students love chart writing time as it is consistent week to week and it allows for them to express their interests and ideas while creating a classroom community.

This product includes five weeks of Predictable Chart Writing prompts and activities, editable documents for the thought organizer and choice boards, a mini info guide, and writing journal covers. It is perfect for back to school as the topics/prompts include: community vehicles, things at racetracks, transportation if there weren't any cars, views from a hot air balloon, and descriptions of planes.

Each prompt includes:

• Thought organizer
• Choice board (color and b/w)
• Class book* - 3 levels

*Each picture from the choice boards is included in the class book. There's also blank pages for the class book in case a student prefers to draw instead of coloring or if they chose something that wasn't on the choice board.
