Do you want your students to get excited about math tests?

We play trashketball before every chapter test, and my students BEG me to play!

Trashketball is engaging, challenging, and 100% of students participate 100% of the game!

You can play with basketball hoops, trash cans, or use the display basketball hoop for students to throw their papers at!

How to play:

-Divide students into teams (each team should have a trash can or basketball hoop)

-Display the trashketball slideshow

-Students write their answers and show their work on the included recording sheet

-The next slide displays the answer

-If students answer the question correctly, they get in line to shoot a basket!

-Students who answered incorrectly stay at their seats ( This is a great time to remediate with these students)

-Continue until the challenge round
