Description
This is a game I designed based on some ideas from a workshop I attended on using Interactive Whiteboards. The idea is that you have two students, each armed with a flyswatter (all plastic!). When two notes are displayed, you give them a moment to determine what they are, then you call one out. First person to slap the correct note wins that match. You can either rotate both players or keep the winning player up until they are defeated. There is also a variation included in the instructions where you can have students read the notes on the beat - far less competitive.
The purpose of the game is to increase note recognition speed with the treble clef. Happy Slapping!
