Description
This self-checking Google Form provides students with immediate feedback as they practice the Triangle Angle Sum Theorem (7.G.2). Students progress through 5 increasingly challenging questions, creating a naturally scaffolded and differentiated experience.
- Correct answers move students forward
- Incorrect answers prompt students to try again and revise their thinking
- Students work at their own pace and build confidence as they progress
A student recording sheet is included to encourage showing work and support deeper mathematical reasoning. This recording sheet is optional, but a great standard of practice for student accountability.
This activity works well for independent practice, partner work, math stations, early finishers, formative assessment, or review. Because students receive immediate feedback, they are able to work more independently, freeing you up to pull small groups or provide targeted support where it’s needed most.
Students are motivated by the challenge of reaching the final question, strengthening perseverance and problem-solving skills along the way. I love how Google Forms structured in this way have made my students stronger independent learners, as they strive to make it all the way to the toughest question without my help!
