Triangle Congruence Card Sort
Share

Description

This product is a card sort activity that reviews the triangle congruencies: SSS, SAS, ASA, AAS, HL, and also not congruent. There are 12 cards to be sorted into these categories. If preferred, there is a recording sheet included with this activity if you would like students to turn in their answers. I also like to use this as a quick check on day one of learning.

I also have a set of notes that correlate with this activity. Check out my store for the bundle!

I gave my students just the cards of triangles, without the names. They had to group according to patterns they noticed. Most tried grouping by acute, obtuse, and right. Then I had them to regroup based on patterns of sides and angles. Then they determined the Congruence Statements
