Description
The final project! Can kids combine all the skills they have learned from your course into one big final program? I needed a final project where the kids could show off their skills and be proud of their learning, but I also wanted to make it exciting and fun. These are the easy level projects but there are actually four project levels as well as three special interest projects within the bundled unit.
There are 8 different problems in this unit arranged in order of difficulty. Four problems are game-based and the other four are in a "teach and quiz" format where they must teach the user something and then test their knowledge. Each student receives their own two-page plan - carefully selected by the teacher based on their knowledge of their ability (differentiated instruction). PowerPoints are provided to demonstrate how to plan a full program.
✸ Some school boards may call a coding project an exit ticket or culminating activity. ✸
Why 8 versions?
☞ Perfect for classrooms where the seating is tight.
☞ Differentiated instruction is built into every assessment.
☞ Encourages student interaction & discussion.
☞ Minimizes student copying.
Materials have also been modified in English (UK) where necessary.
