Bring your turkey theme into your math instruction with this set of easy-prep math puzzles! Perfect as an independent practice math center, these fun turkey math puzzles include four skills: shape matching (2D & 3D), numbers 1-10, teen numbers, and beginning addition (sums through 5).

Turkey Math Puzzles: What’s Included?

Inside this kindergarten math resource, you’ll find four different sets of turkey math puzzles, each included in two print options: color and black and white. Each set includes a label and a recording sheet.

Puzzle Options:

Numbers 1-10: Students match representations of numbers (fingers, blocks, numerals).

Numbers 11-20: Students match representations of teen numbers (ten frames, numerals, blocks).

2D and 3D Shapes: Students match shapes with images of real-world items that represent the shape. The included shapes are: circle, square, rectangle, triangle, hexagon, cylinder, cone, sphere, cube, and pyramid.

Beginning Addition: Students match addition expressions with sums and pictures.

A recording (or follow-up practice) sheet is included for each puzzle option.

How to Prepare and Store These Turkey Math Puzzles

Choose from the color or black and white options to print onto cardstock. Laminate the puzzle cards and labels. Cut the puzzles apart.

These puzzles are color-coded for easy sorting (the black and white versions have different frame styles). They are sized to fit in zip-top sandwich bags or 4” x 6” plastic photo boxes. Tape the laminated label to the outside of the container.
