Description
This turkey craft is a super-cute hands-on way to practice measuring which would be great to use for fall, Thanksgiving, or anytime you want an engaging learning measurement activity that also looks great on a display.
Students measure the distance between dots on the turkey parts, then color, cut out, and make the turkey.
I’ve left it up to you to decide if you want the students to measure using centimeters or inches.
What's included?
- a turkey template with three phrases and without any phrase
- a recording sheet
- a recording sheet with extension for those that need a little more
- three bulletin board phrases to choose from
- answer key
- visual instructions
You can add this to a center, station, whole-class activity, review or Fun Friday option.
I hope you and your students love measuring and making these turkeys!

Reviews
Thank you so much for the review. I really appreciate it.
Thank you so much for letting me know. Due to different printer settings we were getting different measurements. I've added the printer settings needed and the answers to go with these printer settings. I really appreciate your help finding this problem. Thankfully, our measurement skills are just fine :)
