In this teaching resource students are introduced to describing movement and direction using the terms clockwise, anti-clockwise, whole turn, half turn, quarter turn and three-quarter turn. Content includes:
- Clockwise and anti-clockwise explanation with animated activity
- Types of turns (whole, half, quarter and three-quarter) explanation with an accompanying animated activity
- Describe the types of turn made by the animated figure activity
- Identify the position of the animated figure activity with accompanying worksheet
- Describe the type of turn of each shape activity
- 1 further worksheet with answers
'Turns' is completely editable so that teachers can adapt it to suit their teaching requirements.
