Classroom Calendar- Turtles

This Daily Chart allows students to keep track of what the day is, the date, the month and the weather. It also helps students learn the days of the week, months of the year and the order of the dates and types of weather and allows for sight recognition of the names of the weekdays and months.

Bookmarks- Turtles

These can be used as inspiration for students to foster a love of reading. Students can set themselves goals with their reading to enable them to reach a bookmark. Collect all four to create the image. The black and white can be printed on the back for students to colour and then laminate. Or have as a separate one. They could also be a fun way to make groups for teamwork everyone gets a book mark and they need to find another three pieces and that’s their group.
