Description

This note taking guide is a great way to immerse concepts that your students love into your classroom. Students love social media so why not use it in your lessons! I love to assign my students an article and then have them chunk it with their group. The students start by creating a unique username for themselves. Students only read certain sections of the article and then they have to create one tweet on the front pertaining to their section. I encourage them to be funny and creative but they must get their concept across. They may use hashtags and emojis but they have to stay within the new 280 character limit just like twitter! We then post the tweets around the room or share them online using different platforms like padlet and students "like" their favorite tweets. Students then add the best tweets to the back on top tweets!
