Description
I created these puzzles to use with my students and they loved them! It was so fun to watch them match up the pieces of the puzzle to their answers to see if they got them correct. When they realized that something didn't match or line up, they went back to their problem to check their math! I work with RTI students so this was a huge way for them to be independent and to gain confidence with addition and subtraction. This bundle features:
- Two digit addition (with and without regrouping) within 100
- (Answer Keys are included)
Students answer the math question on sheet 1. Then they cut apart the pieces on sheet 2. Students will then try to match up the numbers on the puzzle pieces to the answers they solved for. If they are correct, a picture emerges! If they have a mistake, they will immediately know which problem(s) need to be corrected.
Puzzle feature a positive message about math to help reinforce that growth mindset that all students are math students!
This is CCLS and Next Gen Learning Standards aligned for 2nd grade math.
