This product is great for helping students to identify when they should regroup or not regroup when adding two digit numbers. This fun "feed the animals" theme can be used as a whole group activity, during math workshop or as a center. This product includes the following:

1. Whole group sorting activity - Students feed dog the correct bones (horizontal addition problems or feed the cat the correct fish (vertical addition problems)

2. Larger Sorting mats for students to use at a center or during small group time.

3. Sorting pocketbook - Individual activity to reinforce what they have learned during the whole group or small group lesson.

4. An exit card to show what they know.

Any questions, please email me at janefeener@gmail.com.

This is something I used in person and online in my classroom. It was easy to use virtually and I plan to use it this year again.
