Description
There are 2 sets of these cards: the first set of 12 cards has lines for students to show how they broke apart each number. Students can either write them on their recording sheet or use a dry/erase marker if cards are laminated.
The second set of cards requires students to think about the expanded form and use mental math to do the problem in their head.

This resource is perfectly engaging and makes my preparation easier and smoother! :)
my students love any task cards that I put out for them. I find that they help those who are struggling with the skill seem to master it with by using any task cards
My students loved being able to apply what they have learned while utilizing this resource!
I liked the differentiated tasks. It had re-grouping, so it was a little too challenging for my students (maybe label it as regrouping). An answer key would be great to add to it.
This was a great resource to use when teaching 2 digit subtraction with regrouping.
fun resource
great for sgi
My students loved this resource.
