Description

Get your 2nd graders engaged with addition using three addends with this digital math game! This activity includes 15 equations finding the sum of 3 two digit numbers. Assign with no prep through Google Slides and allow students to receive immediate feedback on their 3 addend addition skills! Students will love the game-like feel of this activity and can complete the addition questions independently, with a partner or in small groups.

Using this resource, students will see 3 two digit numbers and be required to add them together and select the correct answer after they solve. Students have the flexibility to write the equation in whichever order they would like. Best of all, students receive immediate feedback and can go back and select a new answer if they are not correct.

This resource is no prep for teachers-- just assign through Google Slides™ and go! Perfect for an independent math center or technology rotation.

  • 1 multiple choice game with 15 multiple choice questions practicing adding 3 numbers for Google Slides™


Use this resource in your classroom:

  • Math Centers: assign this resource during the colder months for an exciting winter addition to your math centers. This resource can live on Google Classroom or in your technology centers for the month and is easy to use digitally!
  • Distance Learning: Assigning this resource to be used remotely has never been easier! If students have access to their Google accounts at home, they can use this resource with the family or as extra practice at home.
  • Virtual Centers: through Google Slides™ or assigned on Google Classroom™, students will LOVE having an interactive and engaging math center to use to practice their three addend addition.
  • Independent Practice: allow students to use this game independently during their math block or morning work! They can solve problems on their own or work together with a partner. This resource is self paced and will send students to fix their answer if it is incorrect.
  • Whole Group Games: play this game as a class! Allow students to follow along using white boards or work as teams to move through solving these 3 addend addition equations.

I used this resources to have students practice adding 3 addends. Students were completely engaged and enjoyed working. Students knew immediately if they got the wrong answer and were able to self regulate.
