Valentine Double Digit Addition and Subtraction!
Thanks for checking out this product! Double digit addition and subtraction are huge challenges for my students every year. I’m always looking for different ways hold my students’ interest as they practice, practice, practice! This product includes 28 cards (14 double digit addition and 14 double digit subtraction) with a Valentine theme, a student recording sheet, and an answer key. One page of blank cards is also included so you can make even more problems problems. The cards cover VA SOL 2.6, as well as Common Core 2.NBT.5.
You can use these cards in several different ways:
• Read the Room- the cards are taped on the walls around the room and students move to new cards at their own pace.
• Scoot game- the cards are taped on desks and students move from one card to the next when the teacher calls out “Scoot!”
• Math Center- students independently flip through the cards and write their answers.
