Each 40-minute lesson contains a number ID or sequence warmup, place value minilesson, independent practice, and a vocabulary assessment. Use these place value lessons for substitutes, centers, and independent work activities for your 1st or 2nd grade class!

• Begin class with a number ID or number sequence warmup. Each lesson contains one activity to get your students' brains ready for math.
• Start a minilesson with a slides PDF. Each lesson contains 3-4 slides to teach your students about place value. The attached teacher explanation thoroughly describes how to use each slide.
• Use the corresponding place value activity with each lesson for guided practice. The teacher explanations will tell you exactly which product to use!
• Begin independent work time. Refer to the teacher's guide to present three activities to your students based on their ability levels.
• Close the lesson with a vocabulary assessment.
