This is google sheet than can be posted to google classroom so students can independently practice solving two step equations.

This will automatically check the students answer and generate a comment to help if they complete a step incorrectly.

This is great to be used as review, in centers, homework or a quick ticket out the door.

This covers solving standard 2 step equations, with 2 "challenge" problems. All answers are integers.

The students were confused at times with the steps of the process. But I thought it was great. I would love a variables on both sides activity for the 8th and 9th grade.
