Even though I work with 8th grade students, I have found that they still enjoy stations. Stations give us a nice change of pace and allows us to not only review the standards we have been working on, but also practice some of the key skills needed in math. The following file can be used as a file folder task. It includes a cover sheet with instructions and an activity sheet that can be reproduced. I have placed the activity sheet in clear sheet protectors and have students work on them with dry-erase markers. At the completion of the station, I have students fill out a written response about the task, and this is what they turn into me. You can find the response sheet as a free download titled: Two-Step Equations Die Task Response Sheet.
