This is a guided notes resource for solving two-step equations with integer and decimal coefficients. This resource teaches students to undo the addition/subtraction first and then to undo the multiplication/division to isolate the variable. I teach two-step equations in two lessons; this resource being the first and Two-Step Equations (w/ rational coefficients and distribution) Guided Notes second.

The first two pages include practice problems - some with checks and some without. The third page can be used as in-class practice or homework.

This note sheet can be hole punched and placed right into a student's binder or copied at 70 - 75% to create a size that would fit into a composition sized interactive notebook.
