Description

Are you teaching linear equations with two variables with your students? Here is a 6th and 7th grade math activity will amuse your students while learning how to solve such equations while at the same time trying to decode a secret message. Your students' objective is to solve a series of such problems that are displayed on a chart. The answer to each problem represents the corresponding letter. There are blank lines with a number under each line. Those numbers represent the answers to the equations. After the students solve the equations, they will have to put the correct letter on each line to figure out the secret message.

How to play / How to use:

1. Solve the problems in the bottom chart

2. Each answer corresponds with a letter

3. Put the corresponding letter above the blank lines that have a number underneath

4. Read the secret message
