Moore Allred Montessori Upper Elementary Math Posters (ages 9-12, Grades 4th-6th) These teaching posters are so helpful copied on big ledger poster to use in front of a group. And, they can also be copied for individuals to have as a study guide at their work area as a reminder when they are doing their work. They act as a resource for the Application Program I use for my follow-up work.
I use Montessori Made Managable’s 9-12 Math Application Program for the follow work for my lessons, because why reinvent the wheel?! https://montessorimademanageable.com/shop/9-12- math-application/ In their program, each chapter has a variety of leveled word problem pages. You can individualize by either giving more challenging levels of the topic OR by giving more quantity of practice problems. I cover every topic each year for repetition and retention. Each year, we go deeper into each concept. Sometimes I make or purchase other pages to enhance or give more practice on a topic.
I used these Math Applications 9-12 in my Scope and Sequence Curriculum (found on TPT) that has corresponding state standards. I organized the Scope and Sequence per month, so I can organize my teaching tubs and ensure that every child has all concepts covered.
