This tool is meant to operate as a POPULATED (10 questions) template for thinking regarding self questioning and rationale for EACH step of solving/simplifying any equation/expression.

This tool is best used as an exemplar to extend work with students and releasing them to do self directed practice. A great Gradual Release tool which can also serve to build student capacity for productive discourse, self direction, reflection, and rationale critique and defense... all of which helps to develop a growth mindset in students.
