This power point was created to assist parents, teachers, and homeschooling parents in helping children to identify the characteristics of narrative text structure. I have used animated images to help students visualize common themes and patterns that they can expect when reading a narrative text. I used the story "Gertrude The Great" as my mentor text and included the story in the power point.
