Understanding the Equals Sign First Grade Math Equations

Students drag to show their work by counting pictures such as shapes, blocks, or teddy bear counters. After dragging the pictures to each box, students decide if the equation is true or false, Students drag the star to the correct answer which will be one of the acorns.

Please note that I recently became aware that the original fall leaves border I used is not allowed to be used for digital resources (even when secured as JPEG background images) as per Pink Cat Studio policies. Subsequently, the fall leaves border was removed on 9/23/22 and replaced with a fall background that is permitted to be used for digital resources. Thank you for your understanding.

Used as a whole group activity to review but could easily be an independent activity for center rotations.
