Description

Teaching unit conversion is one of the more challenging parts of middle grade science, for both teachers and the students! This method is the result of many years of struggle to find a way to best communicate and practice this critical scientific skill. This method breaks the problem solving into discrete steps and creates a natural scaffold for students. Included in the method are ten practice problems that gradually increase in complexity as students work to master this skill.
