I really like this lab, it's a great idea overall. I would say the big downfall is the potentially confusing mix of imperial and metric units. For instance the students measure something in grams and convert it into tons, which is actually quite difficult, and no conversion ratio is provided. Also they measure distance in meters and convert it into miles per hour, again without a given conversion ratio.
The big upside is the document is in Word and editable, which is great!! So I can make the changes I want. So overall, great resource, thanks!
