Dr. Sigma's Life Lessons are short math warmups that involve everyday tasks that students will need to understand as they grow up and become responsible citizens. Life Lessons - Unit Prices contains 16 warmup sheets for students that involve unit prices of grocery items. The warmups increase in difficulty. There are four warmups for each of the following levels of difficulty which build upon the difficulty of the previous levels:

- Level 1, division using whole numbers of items
- Level 2, division using whole numbers of items and decimals
- Level 3, division using measurement (i.e. ozs., etc.)
- Level 4, division using comparison and different products

These warmups can be used for students in late elementary, middle school, high school and adult learning programs. They can be used individually as warm-ups throughout the year or as part of a personal finance unit. Lessons can be differentiated by student skill level and taught in a single lesson if desired.
