In this magical task card activity, students use the Merchant’s Price List to solve 16 word problems involving unit rates, better deals, and fair trades. By applying ratio reasoning and division with decimals, students practice comparing prices and calculating cost per unit in a way that feels real—and fun!
This is Station 4 of the 6th Grade Test Prep Math Review Bundle, this station is a great way to build fluency with unit rate and proportional reasoning.
