Engage your students in the exciting world of coding with this Spring / Easter unplugged coding set! Designed as the perfect learning extension after teaching positional words, this set introduces directional words and coding concepts in a fun and interactive way.
What's included:
- 9 Unplugged Coding Mats with preplaced picture cards (9 by 11)
- 12 Algorithm Cards featuring a variety of directional commands. Some mats may require multiple algorithm cards to complete the coding sequence, adding complexity and critical thinking challenges.
- Arrow Cards: students can use the arrows to test out the Algorithm to see if they picked the correct card. (2 difference sizes)
- Blank coding mat: Blank coding mats where students can arrange picture cards of Spring / Easter theme such as the basket of eggs, carrots, chick, jellybeans, bush with eggs. These open-ended mat encourages creativity and experimentation as students design their own coding challenges. They come in three different size grids (4 by 5, 4 by 4 and 3 by 3)
- Picture cards (basket of eggs, carrots, chick, jellybeans, bush with eggs). Students can place these on the blank mat. (2 different sizes)
- Blank Algorithm Card: A blank algorithm card where students can write out their own code for their friends to follow. This empowers students to create and share their coding sequences, promoting collaboration and communication skills.
