Here's how math riddle task cards work!
Each of the 360 riddle cards in this set shows four possible answers. Your students will determine the answer by solving the math clues and using critical thinking to eliminate three of the options. With each riddle task card they complete, your students will practice a variety of problems about ...
- Factors through 100
- Multiples through 100
- Multiplication & division fact fluency
- Mixed practice with factors and multiples
- Exponents and square numbers through 100
- Multiply one-digit numbers by a multiple of ten
- Multiplying three-digit numbers by two-digit numbers
- Equivalent fractions
- Improper fractions (fractions greater than one) and mixed numbers
- Identifying missing divisors
- Short division: three-digit numbers divided by one-digit numbers, four-digit numbers divided by one-digit numbers,
Because the graphics in these sets aren't seasonal, you'll find that you can use these resources at any time during the school year, whether you're currently teaching the topics or you want to add some spiral review to your math centers to keep your students' skills sharp!
Student recording pages and answer keys are included for each set - great for self-checking independence!
A variety of additional activities are included for each topic/set, like easy prep games.
Here are some ways that you might use these math task cards to enrich your math curriculum!
► Use in a math center for individual or partner work
► Use with your document camera for whole class review or to focus attention at the beginning of your math lesson
► Use as a skills review rotation (aka "Scoot"), individually or with partners, with students moving to stations around the classroom to solve the clues
► Use for morning “bell ringers”
► Use as challenge work or for early finishers
► Use as an activity with classroom volunteers – they can complete as few or as many as time allows!
