Description

This bundle is for beginners who are learning how to research using the internet. Correlates with Virginia SOL technology/research standards.

What is included?

-Powerpoint explaining how to use key words when conducting internet research as well as many examples. You can make this section into a "game" in which your students respond in any way you wish (dry erase boards, ActivExpressions, virtual rooms such as Todaysmeet.com, etc.)

-Two different worksheet practices with answer keys included (you can use one as an exit card and one for homework)

-Internet scavenger hunt in which students have to use their skills acquired from this lesson to search for specific answers using the child friendly search engine: kidrex.org

This was a great resource to use for practicing keywords. Definitely a difficult concept for most students, but this whole class activity made it easier to understand. Highly recommend!
