Description

Wanna get away?
Vacation math is a great project-based math activity for any time of year. It builds classroom relationships, critical thinking skills, using math in practical situations, and reviewing math they've already learned! Students plan vacations for their groups to Disneyland and Universal Studios- Hollywood. They have a budget they must stay within, and the prices for different options for their vacations.

I've included the following:

  • Vacation math lesson plan
  • Planning slides with prices and options for both Disneyland and Universal Studios-Hollywood
  • Vacation math tracking form
