Students will show appreciation and friendship during the month of February through this hands on Valentine apple turkey activity. It's perfect for a Valentine's Day craft.

A turkey head and heart feathers will be decorated and hot glued or taped to wooden skewers with the help of an adult. On each "heart" feather students will write statements about things they love. The finished product is an adorable apple turkey which can be a cute decoration or table centerpiece to celebrate Valentine's Day.

***Each student will need an apple for completion of this activity. A donation letter to ask for apples is included in the file. **
