Project Based Learning - This Valentine's Day Math Activity will get your students excited about math! In this real-life Valentines Math project, students will plan a party for 10 people. They must stick to a budget of $30 and choose food, decorations and cards using the provided "shopping pages". This Valentine's Day Math project will teach students beginning budgeting skills using different combinations of amounts up to 30, practice using ten frames, and will encourage problem solving and creative thinking skills. Students will all solve the given challenge in different ways.
