Description
This is a fun, engaging Valentine's Day math activity that gives students practice showing a number in multiple ways. It allows for the perfect demonstration of their true understanding of how numbers work together. Students roll die, come up with their "mystery number" and represent it in multiple ways on colorful hearts.
Each heart has a different math task, including:
**Greater than/less than/equal to
**Addition/subtraction problems
**Number bonds
**Representing number with coins
**Representing number with place value blocks
**10 frames
