Valentine's Day Math Games | Number Sense | Tallying | Graphing | Printables

5 Print and Go math activities included:

1. Valentine's Search & Count: This engaging activity combines the excitement of Valentine's Day with the joy of math. Students can explore a vibrant and loved-filled picture as they enhance their counting skills by counting and recording how many of each item they see.

2. Valentine's Bar Graph: Students will enjoy searching for different valentine's day images, counting adorable graphics, and then using their findings to create a bar graph. As they navigate through the love-infused challenge, they'll not only strengthen their counting abilities but also develop a deeper understanding of data representation!

3. Representing Numbers In a different Way: Students are presented a number on one side of a heart and challenged to show that same number in a different way on the other side. If your students have been learning about tally marks maybe they will choose to show the number using tallies. Students can also print the number in written form, use dots or show a simple math equation (2+4=6)

4. Reading Tally Marks: Students are challenged to count the tallies on the heart and print the number that is being shown on the othe side of the heart. Help understand how well your students understand tallies with this simple and cute activity!

5. Reading Dice: Students are tasked with counting the dots on a die and writing down the corresponding number found on the opposite side of the heart. This adorable and straightforward activity serves as a helpful gauge to assess your students' grasp of one-to-one counting. Engage them in this sweet exercise to gain insights into their counting proficiency in a fun and meaningful way!
