The real world learning was GOLD. My kids were so excited to plan a party for all of their (celebrity) friends. They were so meticulous in making sure everyone would have just enough and that the party went exactly as planned. I loved using this resource because the math felt fun, and the kids get some real life party planning experience!

I did have to do some differentiation on this project with my students, but they loved the idea of a real-world party they can plan. They even convinced me to let them plan one for the class, so there's that. They loved it!
