This is a classroom-tested Valentine's Day activity to reinforce fractions and students love it because they get to use candy! Students will be making fractions and equivalent fractions, as well as adding and subtracting fractions and finding answers in simplest form. There is also an introduction to multiplying fractions to find parts of a whole number. It is Common Core aligned for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade.
