Description

called rounding hearts. Students will work on rounding numbers to the nearest 10 or 100. There are direction cards for either one. Students will in the blank hearts with 10's or 100's. They will play with a partner. Students will roll either 2 or 3 dice. (It's depending on if they are rounding the nearest 10 or 100.) Each student will color in the heart that their number will round to. The player that has the most hearts colored in will win.
The second activity is addition and subtraction problems within 1000. There are number sentences written on 10 hearts. Students will have to do the math for each problem, and decide if the number sentence is true or false.
