Description
This mega packet is 2nd in the series for children who have significant difficulty with motor planning for sound and syllable production, and are able to produce CV, VC, VCV/VCC, VCVC, and CVCV (reduplicated syllables) sound combination patterns. It provides students the opportunity for multiple practices within a session. The activities are based on an approach which uses words rather than nonsense syllables to help develop functional vocabulary skills for very young children. Some phrases use the early syntactic pattern of ADJ + N.
The pictured words are organized by increasing length and complexity of syllable shapes for 12 phonemes--m, n, p , b, t, d, l, k g, f, s, and sh. Phrases are arranged by phoneme and degree of motor complexity.
Included are a total of 420 picture cards--18 pages of CVC words (144 pictures), 12 pages of CVCV/CVCC words (92 pictures), 8 pages of CVCVC combinations (64 pictures), 15 pages of CVC CVC/CVCCC words and phrases (120 pictures).
