Description

Looking for an easy to use and comprehensive formative assessment tool? This product is a super versatile tool that your students will enjoy. When entering the classroom, your students have to give a password that will give you a way to know which students are struggling and which concepts and skills need to be retaught.

Included are 9 choices of styles, each with an option of testing one or two skills. You will also get almost 600 entry tickets to attach to the background. Early in the year, I prefer to keep the same password up for multiple days. Later on, I change the password several times a week, or even from morning to afternoon.

To use, print out the Password poster, laminate, and attach velcro to the box where the skill tested (password) will be attached. Next print out some or all of the nearly 600 entry tickets included that will test a various skill. You may choose to print out different skills on different colored paper to help organize the cards (for example, math skills on yellow card stock, reading skills on blue). Laminate these as well, and attach velcro to the back of each card. I have also included a checklist that you can use to assess skills if desired. There is one that has space for 5 items (or days), and one that has space for ten items.
