Are you looking for a fun game to play with your students virtually? Do you want a new way to enjoy your students and have fun together? Read My Lips is the game for you!
If you're like us, you've said "You're on mute," at least a million times. Why not make a game out of it?! We've put together 50 phrases for you to say *while muted* for your students to guess by reading your lips. You will all be in stitches over the guesses your students come up with.
You can use this game as a part of your daily routine or save it for special occasions. We use it during Fun Friday, and it is always a hit! It could be a perfect virtual class party game, or a special treat to spice up any day.
Are you an in person teacher?! Don't worry! You can play, too!! Instead of saying these phrases, you can just mouth the phrases. It sounds silly, but everyone will have a blast playing this game.
What's included:
- PowerPoint slides for the teacher to use as a guide (don't share your screen)
- Single page list of the 50 phrases (so you can print it off and mark off phrases you've used)
- A scoreboard so you can "up the ante" and challenge your students to "Beat the Teacher" - if they guess the phrase, they get a point; if they aren't able to figure it out, YOU get a point.
