This assignment is used for distance learning for my school's Tech Ed classes grades 7-12 or to teach the basics of drawing using Sketch Up. I used this assignment both last spring and this fall in all levels of my Cabinet Making and Tech Ed courses during distance learning. Currently there are more than 4 other teachers using this assignment in our district and over 400 students. This assignment has been a HUGE SUCCESS!!! This assignment is design to be used by students with very little help from the teacher and walks students step-by-step with video instructions, as they 3D draw using Sketch Up. This assignment is part #1 of a three part assignment and when complete students will understand basic cabinet construction, how a kitchen is designed and basic CADD drawing skills. I am a 20 year veteran tech ed teacher and this assignment has made my life as a teacher so much easier and it took my students to the next level. You will not be disappointed!!
