Description

Great for Biology Distance Learning

Students will research a virus and design a digital wanted poster. This activity is 100% paperless and makes a great infectious disease project. I designed this resource to provide student choice. However, since the Google™ slides are editable, teachers can easily adapt the assignment to create the wanted poster on the coronavirus.

Please note this activity focuses on viruses. I have a similar activity that focuses on all pathogens (viruses, bacteria, fungi, and protozoa) here.

So easy to use!

Teachers, all you need to do is download and share the Google™ slides with your students.

Included:

✔ Student Direction Page (sets clear guidelines)

✔ Virus Choice List

✔ Two-page Virus Research Worksheet

✔ Wanted Poster Template

✔ Works Cited Graphic Organizer

✔ Scoring Guide

✔ Student Example Project

All pages are editable

Highly effective and engaging resource for virtual learners
Rated 5 out of 5
January 6, 2026
This resource was exactly what my online students needed. It supported their learning clearly and effectively, and students were genuinely engaged throughout. Materials were easy to use in a virtual setting, aligned well with our learning goals, and saved me prep time. I noticed measurable improvement in understanding and participation after using it. Strongly recommended for any teacher working with virtual learners — both helpful for instruction and enjoyable for students.
